To manage your finances effectively with the Zed Virtual Dollar Card, it's crucial to understand its transaction policies and follow best practices. By doing so, you'll be able to navigate domestic and international transactions, cross-border payments, and security measures with confidence, empowering you to make informed financial decisions.
Transaction Fees for Insufficient Funds
Your card will incur a fee for failed transactions due to insufficient funds. After three consecutive failed attempts within 24 hours, the card will be permanently terminated. The decline fee applies only when a transaction fails due to insufficient funds.
Domestic Transactions (within the US): $0.06 of the transaction value.
International Transactions (outside the US): $0.4 of the transaction value.
Tips to Avoid Decline Fees
Maintain a Minimum Balance: Ensure your card always has at least $10 to $20.
Check Your Subscriptions: Confirm you have enough funds for each subscription before its expiry date or cancel any unwanted services.
Monitor Your Account Balance: Regularly check your balance to cover all purchases.
Low Balance Notifier
A Low Balance Notifier bot will send push notifications based on your spending habits, reminding you to top up your card.
Cross-Border Transaction Fees
For successful cross-border transactions (outside the US), a fee of 2.5% of the transaction value will be charged.
Termination Policy for Insufficient Funds
If your card has three consecutive failed transactions due to insufficient funds within 24 hours, it will be terminated.
